DOG FRIENDLY CHARTER

Guide and Assistance Dogs are welcome throughout the building. Other well-behaved dogs may join customers in The Niblick but are not allowed in the R&A Shop or Museum Galleries.

• Dogs and their owners must enter the restaurant via the restaurant terrace using the external stairs.

• Dogs must be kept on their leads at all times and be well behaved (paws on the floor).

• If a dog seems unsettled, we can politely ask the owner to take the dog outside to the patio area.

• The dog’s welfare is very important to us, as well as the comfort of our guests.

• Our catering team must not touch, stroke, or feed dogs.

• It is the responsibility of the dog’s owner to clear away any dog waste. To assist we can provide a caddy box for the dog’s owner to use, containing waste bags, a neutralising spray, absorbent paper and disposable gloves.

• Dogs cannot accompany single guests to the toilets on the ground floor.

• We can provide dog water bowls and dog treats (biscuits) to offer to owners to give to their dogs.

• The dog remains the responsibility of the owner at all times.
